Favorite Watches

I never used to wear watches but now I can't stop!  I forgot my watch the other day and felt so off.  Maybe its because I'm a 'professional' now and a watch just helps me look the part (since I don't feel the part yet...)

My favorite brand is Skagen.  They have such sleek, unique styles unlike any other watches.  And their colors are very fashion forward!  I love their fun colors that seem to go with everything.  The watch pictured has a rose gold face and grey leather band.  At first I thought it was kind of odd but couldn't stop coming back to it.  Now that it's a part of my collection I find that it goes with most everything!

Instagram Round Up

Happy Friday, or Fri-YAY as it is lovingly referred to on Insta :)

I've never done an Instagram Round-Up before but I have been so busy with my new job (would we like a post on that? comments please!) I haven't had a ton of time to blog new material.  So here we go, enjoy!

National Donut Day was last week so naturally I had to get one.  I had a coupon for $0.99 large iced coffee that I figured I might as well use while I was there.  Then I found out since it was in fact national donut day they were giving a free donut with any drink purchase! So I got a large coffee and a donut for $1.07 (b/c of tax) - boo-yah!

I finally put my Lilly Pulitzer storage bins to use!  Got them at Marshall's a while back.  What is crazy is that this picture ended up getting close to 600 likes!   Very unusual for me (okay who am I kidding I never get even close to that!)  Anyone happen to have any idea why?!

Brian and I went out to dinner to celebrate his first week of work being over!  Now I'm almost done with MY first week and his second :)  Welcome to the real world -__-

Before his first day of work Brian surprised me with the beauty!  How lucky am I to have such an amazing man?!  I have had my eye on this since I got it in my Rocksbox months ago and he went out and found it for me. *heart eyes emoji* all over the place!

Finally all the way back to Memorial Day weekend - loved wearing this flowy white Lilly dress on the beach!  Check out the gorgeous sunset we had here.

Navy and White Night

I kind of love Thursday nights.  I know it sounds odd, most prefer Friday or Saturday night.  And for obvious reasons!  I like Thursday night though, there is something about knowing tomorrow is Friday that makes staying up late on a work night okay.  Friday is usually an easier day so you can live it up on Thursday and make it through the last day of the week on a little less sleep somehow.

So tonight we decided to take a stroll around a nearby outdoor mall.  It was a nice night with a nice breeze!

Lilly Pulitzer + Kendra Scott Beach Party

My family and I spent Memorial Day weekend at my favorite beach!  It was absolutely perfect weather, the ocean was 84 degrees, and there were hardly any clouds in the sky!

Right before we left I received this Lilly Pulitzer dress in the mail that I got off of Poshmark in the mail so I threw it in my bag last minute. P.S. One night my mom and I decided to go out to the beach for a sunset photo shoot!  The west coast of Florida is the perfect place for sunsets.

I LOVE this dress.  It is just perfect for summer, especially the beach.  It's so white and flowy.  I love pairing my monogram necklace with everything but I thought it looked especially great with this v-neck dress.

We were rushing out the door to get down to the beach before the sun actually set so I didn't have time to throw on this gorgeous Kendra necklace from my latest Rocksbox!  Boo!

Lilly takes Disney | Lilly Pulitzer Magic Kingdom

If you saw my last post then you know that my two favorite things are Lilly Pulitzer and Disney.  Well today I got to combine them once again!  I spent the day at the Magic Kingdom and I wore my resort white grid eyelet dress.

Of course I had my morning Diet Coke in a Disney mug :)  My necklace is from my latest Rocksbox (use code katiexoxo1 for a FREE month!)

We've arrived!!  The flowers are always so vibrant at Disney, especially at this time of year.

First stop, castle pics.  It was exciting to see the new Hub today.  After seeing the construction walls for so long it was nice to finally see the results!

The high was 95 today -_-  We got a little hot and sweaty!  What better way to pass the time in line than take selfies?

"I'm so glad I left my tower!"  Sadly this area is only a restroom, not a ride :/  But I'm pretty sure it is the prettiest bathroom area ever!

 Even though it was more crowded than expected, we got to ride quite a bit and had a yummy lunch!  Afterwards we hit the pool since it was such a gorgeous day!

Day to Night | How to Style 1 Top 2 Ways

I recently purchased this gorgeous scalloped top at, wait for it - TJ Maxx!  For like $12!  And when I got this necklace piece of art by Kendra Scott in my Rocksbox I knew they were a match made in heaven.  Then I somehow ended up with two looks for this gorgeous top and decided to combine them in one blog post!  Okay here we go!  I hope you will enjoy it!

First up: casual day time look!  I paired my scalloped top with these black and white striped shorts.

I added hot pink sandals for a pop of color!

I decided to wear my hair up - a pretty rare occurrence other than at the gym - and I think it just made the outfit that much more fun!

Next up: dressy night time outfit!  This outfit features the 'piece de resistance' by Kendra Scott *heart eyes emoji*  I LOVE how this necklace looks with black!

I actually curled my hair for once so I took it down for this outfit.

Why are scallops just so darn appealing?!  You could honestly put them on anything and it would make me want to buy it!

I paired the top with this midi skirt that I also got a TJ Maxx for - wait for it - $10!  Such a steal and it is so cute and comfy!  I love how it looks with these strappy sandals.  I think it would look awesome with some ankle strap heels too!
