Monday Blues | J.Crew Factory Sale

It's Monday.  Again.  Ever feel like life is an endless string of Mondays?  Not trying to be depressing but seriously - adult life is tough and it's been a big transition for me since graduating.  I want to do a "life update" post to catch you all up on everything but for now here's my #ootd.

I got these patterned crops from J. Crew Factory for ... wait for it ... $10!

Hey a good deal can improve your Monday, right?  Although I bought these over the weekend I can still appreciate the deal today.

I paired them with a plain white tank and nude heels.  Its a rare day that I wear heels but I feel that crop pants require them.

Side note: I've been obsessed with braids everyday, so quick and easy!

My rose gold Skagen watch goes with literally everything.  Definitely a wardrobe must have for me!

And I topped it all of with my navy blue Kendra!  What's better?

Mall at Millenia Fashion Week | #milleniafashionweek

If you've ever visit Orlando you have to stop by Mall at Millenia.  It is one of the top 10 malls in the country - how lucky am I to have it in my backyard?  One of the many reasons I will never leave Orlando!  Anyhow 10 years ago they started this little thing called Millenia Fashion Week... nbd except for the fact that this event is one of a handful that are literally creating the fashion scene in Orlando.

My eyes are really only beginning to be opened to all that is the Orlando fashion scene.  I always say that the only thing you can learn is that there is always more to learn - and this subject is no exception.

What I Wore - Lilly of course!

I have been so fortunate in connecting with the key players in the fashion world, mostly via Instagram.  But today I got to meet so many women I admire in person and it was too fun!  If you would have described my day today to me a year ago, I would not have believed you for more reasons than one.  But the main thing I would have questioned is how in the heck did I get lucky enough to mix and mingle with some of the sweetest and most gorgeous women on a Thursday morning at my favorite weekend destination?!

Let me explain.  This morning I attended the first official Blogger Breakfast to kick off Millenia Fashion Week!

I got to hang out at the super chic Capital Grille, drink mimosas and chat with some fabulous new friends all before 10AM!  What is life?!?

Can't forget the delicious french toast!

There is definitely more to come and more to share before the 10th Millenia Fashion Week comes to an end but today was a great way to start it off!

Lilly for Target Maxi Dress Nosey Posey

Who can believe how long ago the Lilly for Target pandemonium was?  Seems like years ago by now. You can re-live my journey on the blog with my initial excitement here and my post-shopping experience here (just re-read this myself and dang was I annoyed! lol).

Luckily a lot of people snatching up all of that stuff didn't really want it as much as they thought and/or couldn't re-sell it for as much as they though because the market was flooded so I have now grown my Lilly for Target collection quite a bit!

And this would have to be my favorite addition!

I have been wanting a maxi dress, of any kind really, for a very long time but just haven't found one I really love.  Well I found this one for a steal and couldn't be happier with it!  So comfy and, despite my doubts, actually long enough for me!
