Warm Winter Part 1 {+Kendra Scott Giveaway!}

So so excited to share this post with you today for several reasons!

1. I haven't shared a fashion post in wayyyy too long (especially considering this was once solely a fashion blog :P).

2. This is just part 1 of a 4 part series I'm calling 'Warm Winter' (details below).

As you likely know, I live in Florida (born and raised, baby!) and I absolutely love it. However, this time of year I really wouldn't hate some cooler temps. I mean I can't complain because its gorgeous out, but at the same time, seasons wouldn't be the worst thing to experience! 

Especially as someone who loves fashion, not getting the chance to bundle up in cozy sweaters and pom pom beanies like everyone else on Instagram gives me a little #FOMO. I know it can be a struggle to come up with seasonally appropriate outfits (feels weird to wear cutoffs and a tee shirt to Thanksgiving dinner even if the weather calls for it) so I decided to come up with a few 'warm winter' appropriate outfits to inspire you!

Below are the links to the items I'm wearing (or similar) but in each post I'll also include pointers for finding pieces that will work in your own closet.

- A sleeveless dress is sure to keep you cool in the December heat! Picking one that is made with a thicker fabric will keep the look seasonally appropriate despite a summery style.

- Boots! Add boots to any outfit and you're instantly going to have a warmer look without actually making you too warm.

- Colors are key - wearing darker, richer colors this time of year works well despite what the actual pieces are.

I wasn't able to find this exact dress, but I found a similar one (though you may need to wear a tank top under it if you're modest like me!). My exact boots are still in stock and are currently 50% off! My earrings are Kendra Scott, and come in six different colors!
