Patterned Prints for Summer

Summer is a season of fun and what's more fun than printed dresses?  I love shopping for the hot summer months because the stores (and websites!) are filled with bright colors and beautiful prints.  Any Lilly Pulitzer lover like myself can't pass up a bold, fun print!  This dress from Bloomingdale's is such a beautiful mix of purples and blues.  You know from this post how I feel about purple!

The other feature I love on this dress is how it's a variation of off-the-shoulder.  Still on trend but stands out from the rest!  Plus having the halter neckline makes it that much more comfortable to wear because the sleeves aren't slipping up or down all the time.

The ruffles on the neckline and hem are such a lovely feminine detail that really brings the dress to life.  Whenever I'm shopping online or in store I like to look for pieces that have something unique about them.  Keeping an eye out for the small details will result in a more diverse wardrobe that isn't a copy and paste of everyone else's.

My wedges are no longer available but I've linked a similar pair (under $30!) as well as my dress and some of my other favorite printed dresses for the season!  Which one is your favorite?
