Kate Spade Pleated Drop Waist Dress

If you look in my closet you'll find a somewhat embarrassing number of white dresses.  When I'm out shopping I simply can't resist them, and I can find a way to justify pretty much anything so of course I have to buy them all!

The shopping gods were watching over me on the day I got this dress.  I was scouring the clearance rack at Nordstrom Rack as I so often do and my focus narrowed in on that green Kate Spade tag.  You can pretty often find some good KSNY but even the clearance price is typically over $100.  Well this lucky day the price was $19.98!  I had to look several times to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me!

As excited as I was I didn't immediately run for the register.  Drop waist dresses have a way of making themselves look less than gorgeous on the hanger.  This dress looked a bit bag-like I'll have to admit.  So I tried it on and was pleasantly surprised!  It was actually really cute and it took me about 0.02 seconds to decide to buy it.

Today I'm pairing it with the perfect summer hat complete with blush pink ribbon (from Lulu's) and these adorable Nautica chambray wedges (from Ross, they were under $20!).  Once I saw the little anchor detail on the back I couldn't just leave them there on the shelf - they had to come home with me!  My purse is also Kate Spade, from a few years ago.  But finding a pink bag with a bow on it is not exactly hard to do when we're talking Kate Spade ;)

What's the best clearance find you've found?  This one has to be at the top of the list - though I can't beat the sweater I got at Nordstrom Rack for $0.01.  Yes, you read that right, one cent!  Don't think I'll ever be able to top that!
